Michael McEvoy
Michael McEvoy, is a Belfast based Dancer Artist & Theatre Maker. Specialising in contemporary dance performance and choreology, Michael has had the great pleasure to work in TV, Film, Cruise Ships, Musical Theatre, Traditional Theatre, Opera and most commonly Contemporary Dance.
An Alumni of Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance, Michael graduated in 2019 with a First Class BA(Hons) Degree in contemporary dance and was awarded The Sylvia Bodmer Memorial Fund for exceptional research into Choreology.

Michael is celebrating the pleasure of working in theatre for 10 years. Michael choreographed his first production; Fetch Theatre Company’s ‘Evita’ in the MAC Belfast 2014.

Rebecca Hainsworth
Rebecca is Belfast based facilitator & producer. Executive of Ravenhill Management & founder of Leaven on Earth.
Becca is a passionate member of our art community and dog mom to Ding the dachshund. Becca joined the NADC team in January 2025 and has been a pillar in our mission to produce high quality dance theatre.
We are very excited about our journey with Becca as we continue to develop our movement programs, community engagements and potential touring opportunities in our near future.

Our Mission
Our purpose is to Encourage, Support and Inspire the Creativity of individuals across Northern Ireland through professional dance engagement and performance. We courageously contribute to the development of the professional dance sector by producing new work that reflects today’s social, political, economic, and artistic landscape.
NADC is a continuation and development of choreographer Michael McEvoy’s existing practice & body of work. We aim to create work for people of all ages & spaces; to build audiences, nurture dance artists and curate exciting collaborations across all arts forms.
Northern Attitudes Dance Company will continue exploring and defining Contemporary Dance Theatre, Film & public engagement through creative & play.
